Consignment Information

We do require all horses go through a miniature evaluation process before taking them on.  We will need to see video, current photos and have a full understanding of the horses current training prior to any consignment agreement.  All evaluation material can be e-mailed to Stephanie for review. 

 Standard Consignment Package:

~ $775 per month, multiple horse discounts will be given.  This includes full board with everything listed below under ‘New Facility Amenities’, 3 – 5 training/professional rides.  All farrier, vet, and maintenance costs are the responsibility of the owner.  If the horse’s training is to the point where the horse is ready to show, the owner will be contacted and details will be discussed at that time. 

~ Storybrooke Farms receives 10% of final sale price.  We work very hard to have your horse sold in as little time as possible but do require horses only go to homes where they will receive proper care and treatment.

~ Consignment Packages can be tailored to your horses’ specific needs as well as your budget.  Please contact us and we will work with you to customize a package that is ideal.

Examples of Marketing:

We showcase our clients’ horses as best we can.  Aside from showing and working through our network of trainers, horse enthusiasts, and veterinarians we use more modern techniques to market your horse.  We frequently list our horses on various equestrian websites, in highly viewed magazines and on our own website.  In addition we record and tape digital video which we can in turn be uploaded for easy viewing on the internet.  Storybrooke also has an established mailing list consisting of farms and private owners to which we regularly mail current listings.  Plus, we still use the “old fashion” flyers hung in the many tack shops and equestrian frequented venues in the area.
